What is a prototype?

A prototype is a very cut down but functional piece of software that allows you to test if the idea or concept would really work. It gives you something tangible to show prospective customers and investors. You may currently have your idea in your head, on paper or have tried to get it to work in some other form such as a spreadsheet. Getting a prototype is the first step to getting a complete product for sale.

What is required to produce the prototype?

A basic outline of your idea and a couple of sketches of how you see the prototype working would be of great benefit. However, all we really need is your idea and the rest can be produced at the initial meeting with the developers assigned to your project.

Ok, so I'm happy with my prototype. Now what?

Once the prototype is complete you are free to choose another software developer to complete the project if you wish. However, we would love you to choose us so that we can see the project through to completion with you and share the amazing experience that is your first sale!
